Rabies in Thailand, Situation Update, No. 2 (2017)

 


From 1 January to 11 June 2017, four cases were notified from four provinces, namely, Surin, Chachoengsao,  Samut Prakan, and  Chonburi. Case-fatality rate was 100%

 

Followings are general information of the cases:

Sex: two males and two females

Age-group: 10-14 years old, 15-24 years old, and 55-64 years old

Nationality: three Thais and one Laos

Occupation: two labors, one student, and one unknown/preschool
